*Study Scripture:* _ Proverbs 23:7- For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you. *(NKJV)*_
*MEDITATION*
The state of pondering on something or giving it deep thought, is what I would like to define meditation as.
From the above scripture, we get to realize that how one thinks of themselves is actually who they are and not who they become. That is, your attitude about yourself reveals the very nature of your meditations.
“For as he (a man) thinks in his heart, so he is.” This implies that the thoughts a man carries in his heart give him a certain being or sense of living.
When you ponder on things contrary to the word of God, then your sense of living and being yields fruits contrary to that of the word.
If the bible simply says that you have been made righteous by grace through faith, then your mandate in seeing the fruits of righteousness manifest is to ponder on the the scriptures that speak of faith and grace.
All your destiny, and purposes have been placed with in your meditations and thoughts of your heart. Remember from your heart flows all the issues of life.
That means it all starts from your heart, and moves on to be executed in the mind.
Ask yourself something, do you carry the right attitude in your meditations?? Where are you coming from in thinking? Is it out of belief in the word or curiosity to check if the word works?
The power of your thoughts has an implication on your destiny.
*Further Study* :
Psalms 119:11.
Philippians 4:8
*Nugget*:
“For as he (a man) thinks in his heart, so he is.” This implies that the thoughts a man Carrie’s in his heart give him a certain being or sense of living. You ponder on things contrary to the word of God, then your sense of living and being yields fruits contrary to that of the word.
*Prayer* :
Dear Jesus, I am grateful for your blood at calvary that brought transformation unto my being. I am healed as your word says, I am wise as your word says, I have no portion of lack as your word dictates. With a mind set to believe in the expansion of your kingdom, I choose to bring nations to you in Jesus’ name.
*Amen*
