LIVING SACRIFICES

*STUDY SCRIPTURE* ;
Romans 12:1 (KJV)
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

*LIVING SACRIFICES*
As new creatures in Christ, the Lord wants us to live on our altars of sacrifice. This is why our study scripture speaks of us presenting our bodies as living sacrifices.

It means that the more you serve God and live for Him, the more graces multiply in you to give life to everything that you do.

Service to God is not meant to diminish you. By this, I refer to men who have given their all to God but seem to be dying every other day; their finance are failing, their families are disintegrating, their careers are falling apart and everything about their lives appears to be on a downward spiral.

I have known ministers of the gospel who have given their time and labour for the cause of the gospel but struggle to feed themselves and their families.

All these are examples of men dying on the altars of sacrifice and that is not the plan and purpose of God.

Some people mistakenly see glory in this kind of life, they call it pious and sacrificial living. Renew your mind, as requires. There is no honour in living and dying like a man who is not anointed with oil. Understand that God is not unfaithful to forget your labour of love in ministering to the saints. Allow Him to serve through you because that is how His life spreads to everything that pertains to you.

Hallelujah!

*NUGGET:*
There is no honour in living and dying like a man who is not anointed with oil. Understand that God is not unfaithful to forget your labour of love in ministering to the saints. Allow Him to serve through you because that is how His life spreads to everything that pertains to you.

*PRAYER:*
Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for the great and incomparable opportunity to serve You. The apostle Paul says that he laboured more than his brethren but it was not him that laboured but the grace of God in him. I yield to Your Spirit to serve and change the world through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
