Leadership that is of God

STUDY SCRIPTURE
1 Kings 4:20-21 The people of Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand on the seashore; they ate, they drank and they were happy. And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. These countries brought tribute and were Solomon’s subjects all his life.

Leadership that is of God.
From the previous scriptures we see God giving Solomon understand and wisdom that no man before and even after him ever had. In our theme scripture, Solomon got to understand the mantle that was ahead of him and humbled himself and requested for understanding and wisdom.

There are times when we are choosen to lead in different aspects of life i.e in our families, politically, socially, economically and then we think that we can manage by ourselves. In Romans 13:1 the scriptures says that “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.”

Even Solomon who was born a leader by the promise of the Father David to the mother, he understood that it was not enough for him to lead the multitudes of people by his own understanding and wisdom but only God.

It is always a wise decision to inquire in the spirit realm for the best advice on the discussion and choices to make as a leader that God has called from birth.

1 Kings 4:24-25 For he had dominion over all [the region] on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him. And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

*_Leadership that brings peace and provision_ .*
When we read about Solomon’s father David, we realize that his reign was full of wars after wars and of which is different from Solomon’s reign.

There are places or offices that one gets into and everyone that that work station are happy, filled with joy and peace and other work places there is only miserly and complaining. These situations are mostly evoked by the leadership that is there in that period or season.

From our theme scripture, we get to understand that Solomon’s reign was a peaceful one, safe and it had provision in terms of food.
In Proverbs 24:3-4 (KJV)“Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” All this comes along from a place where God has established the authority.
The ultimate place of good leadership is only to be rooted in God from whom all good and perfect things come from.
