*KNOWING YOUR PRESERVATION*

*Study scripture:* _Genesis 30:27 – And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake._

One of the major weaknesses among many christians currently is that some have failed to understand the source of the grace that preserves them. In this world,it is possible to actually prosper by the grace upon another man.

You can operate in prayer simply because you walk in the company of prayerful men. Your business can prosper because you are an associate of a prosperous businessman. You can understand the word of God because you sit among men of revelation.

It is important for you to know who carries a grace of preservation for you. For example, Laban was a very rich man but he did not know that the cause of his riches was the blessing upon Jacob. And when Jacob left Laban’s life,the latter learnt by experience that his prosperity was because of Isaac’s son.

There are individuals who could be struggling simply because they walked out of the life of a man who had a grace of establishment for them. Without effort and principles, Laban became too rich by associating with a blessed man. For Jacob’s sake Laban was rich.

Look at the man of God Lot. He became rich and waxed great because he was in the company of a blessed man Abraham. The grace and blessing of God upon Abraham was sufficient to make his nephew prosperous without Lot necessarily obeying certain principles.

The day Lot left Abraham’s life,he entered a wrong city, Sodom and Gomorrah,the City was burnt to ashes. All his property was destroyed. The wife turned into a pillar of salt. The children committed immorality with him and the rich man ended up in a cave poor and having nothing.

Lot suffered frustration because he did not fully yield to the grace and source of his preservation. Understand the people with graces that preserve you and you shall prosper in all things.

*Nugget:* It is your individual responsibility as a Christian to perceive and know by which man you are preserved. It is possible to walk out of your blessing by disconnecting from a person. Know the men around you. You can be blessed for their sake.

*Prayer:* Lord Jesus,I thank you because you open my eyes to the people you have placed in my life for my growth, establishment, prosperity and blessing. I receive them with thanks and celebrate them in the name of Jesus Christ.
