*Study scripture: * _Mathew 6:9-10-After this manner therefore pray ye: our father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.Thy kingdom come.Thy will be done in earth,as it is in heaven._
*HOW TO PRAY *
These verses teach us one of the right ways to pray unto our God. Prayer is a medium of communication between man and God. It is a way through which a man claims God’s promises upon his life and these promises can be easily manifested towards a man that prays in God’s word.
Our study scripture shows us one of the ways of approaching prayer that is by glorifying the name of God. Honouring the position of God is one way to have an effective prayer. God is a creator and he has dominion over all the things on earth and in heaven including those that we pray for and there for we ought to honour his position.
We now come to a place of praying that God’s will can be done in our lives. We may have our desires but God always has the best plans for us; *_Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end._* and this confirms to us that has all the good plans for us.
The bible says that you ask and receive not, because you ask a miss that ye may may consume it upon your lusts. There is a man that can ask for riches, anointing, a good house, a car, prosperity etc that he may boast around as the best person in the community.
But when a man asks for all those things with a conscious that if these things are given unto him God’s name should be glorified, such a person cannot fail to receive whatever they asked from God.
