HOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND JESUS

*Study scripture:* _Mathew 16:13-16 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? – And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. – He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?- And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God._

*HOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND JESUS?*

It is important your revelation of Jesus Christ. Who is Jesus to you? Your revelation of Jesus Christ will define the extent of your relationship with him to walk in the spirit.

Different men had different opinions of Jesus Christ. Some said he was a prophet. Some called him Jeremiah. The pharisees one time called him belzeebub. And all those men received from him according to how they knew him.

Beyond men’s revelation of God? What is your personal revelation of Jesus? Your pastor could be having a revelation. Your Friend could be having one. But what is your experience of him?

The perfect revelation of Jesus Christ is that he is a son of God. This is the revelation that caused Peter to be established on a solid rock of foundation.

The primary understanding all christians must carry is that Jesus is the son of God. He came in the flesh and died for us. If a man does not understand Jesus as a son of God,he can never be saved. That is why Muslims will never be saved because they do not believe that Jesus is a son of God.

The sure foundation of christian growth is that Jesus is a son of God. That is the revelation that established Peter. And that is the primary revelation all of us must have against the gates of hell.

Go past the revelation and opinions of men concerning Jesus. Conform yourself to the reality that he is a son of God. That the devil fears that is why the gates of hell shall never prevail against it. It is the foundation against which attacks can never overcome,the revelation that Jesus is the son of God.

Thank you Lord for the revelation of your person in my life. I know and understand that Jesus is the son of God. Am established in all things and the gates of hell shall not prevail against me.
