Eph.4.30 – And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God ‘s own, secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin).
*Grieve not the Holy Spirit*
As we understand that every believer receives the person of the Holy Spirit after receiving the life of Jesus’ Christ in his/her heart. The commitment we have towards the holy spirit is that he leads us in all Truth as we follow. The Bible speaks of how Ananias and Sapphira lied to the holy spirit, Acts.5.3 – But Peter said, *Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost,* and to keep back part of the price of the land?
There are many who have deliberately set themselves against the way of the spirit, this is seen in the decisions we make, it could be a job, it could be a friend or marriage relationship, and many others. How can a believer deliberately work in a job that he feels the spirit of God is against it and he can’t leave simply because he needs money?? There Christians who yoke with non believers and the Lady is comfortable simply because that non believing man proves to love her??
The holy spirit will always convict us with in the principles of God’s Word and as a man grows in God, he begins to see the price that comes with setting himself against God’s pattern or God’s order of things. Everytime we set our hearts against the convictions of Truth we have, we grieve the holy spirit and that keeps us in bondage and you continue living like a believer who is bound yet Christ set you free.
*hallelujah!!*

*Nugget:* The holy spirit will always convict us with in the principles of God’s Word and as a man grows in God, he begins to see the price that comes with setting himself against God’s Patterns.
*Prayer* Heavenly father I thank you for this Truth, I’m awakened to my fellowship with the Holy Spirit, I respond to his dealings in me, I respond to the grace available for me through him. In Jesus’ name, Amen
