GOD’S KIND OF HOLINESS

*_GOD’S KIND OF HOLINESS_*

*Theme Scripture*

*1 Peter 1:15*
But as the one who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living.

*Insight*
God’s kind of holiness is not intended for us to make a show of ourselves, or earn more of His love, mercy or qualify us to heaven, its intended that we should attract many unto Himself.. In *1 Thessalonians 4:4-5* phrased Holiness should be because we know God’s ways unlike the pagans. His Holiness is beamed through us unto the people in the dark so that they can see Him as the light. Its intended to make a distinction through us between God whose light and the evil one whose darkness.

Its absurd for a born again to give off darkness, such a man confuses the world which is trying to look for Jesus the light giver. Over in *Matthew 5:13* Jesus tells us we are the light of the world, we give light to men in darkness, our holy lives beam light which guides them out of darkness, According to *Matthew 5:16* its says let our good deeds [ Holiness] shine among all, that every one will praise your heavenly father. God is holy *1 Peter 1:16* and he wants us to represent him properly as his ambassadors *2 Corinthians 5:20* before the world so that its saved, bible says he died for all so that all who live might live no longer for themselves but to and for Him *2 Corinthians 5:15*

*PRAYER*
Lord thank you for granting us the blessing to be called sons of God. May we represent you properly before the world as the Good and Holy Father you are. Amen

Verse: Exodus 16:4a

Then the LORD said to Moses, ‘I will rain down bread from heaven for you.’

– Providing for our daily needs, is something that is important to the Lord.
– In this situation, the Lord gave them bread from heaven to supply their needs.
– This ‘bread from heaven’ was a Divine supply to meet the needs.
– The Lord is also your Provider, so look to Him and His supply for you.

PRAYER: Great Provider Lord, thank You that You have promised to supply my needs. I realise that the help You give, may not come in the form that I had expected, but You know what is best for me, and so I simply look to You, because You will provide in the name of Jesus . Amen.
