Forgiveness

“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:”
— Ephesians 4:26 (KJV)
*Forgiveness* .
There are many sins in this world and these are classified into two: _sins to fellow men and sins against God._ The sins against God are those that deal with the *matters of the heart* , because it is only God that knows what a man holds in his heart. These can include: the sin of pride and unforgiveness.

When you are wronged and you forgive not, you have sinned against God not your offender! Our theme scripture tells us, that dont allow the sun to go down while yet you still hold a grudge over a brother or sister. (Matthew 5:23-26), Jesus says that even before you come to offer your prayers at the altar, firstly solve that issue you have with your brother, lest your heart will be found faulty because remember it’s not the gift that matters but your heart. Before we come to worship, lets search our hearts, forgive those that have wronged us, thereby are our sacrifices accepted before God.

It is not simple!, a man can say; but God expects you to take reference of how much he has forgiven you and with that same measure you forgive our offenders (Matthew 18:21-35). Furthermore ask the Holy Spirit to help you forgive that person and determine not to see their faults, but understand that the devil was the mastermind who wanted to stand in the way of your communion with God if u didnt forgive.

Our God is holy and is worshipped with holy sacrifices, therefore choose to forgive such that your prayer, worship, offerings are found blameless. Unforgiveness can stand in our way of communion, allow not the sun to go down with wrath in your heart. Hallelujah!

*Prayer* :
Loving Father full of mercy, I live in a world full of offenses but I thank you because am not alone but I am with the Holy spirit that helper. He opens my eyes daily to the mercy I’ve recieved from you and with this understanding I let go of my offenders, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
