FIX YOUR EYES ON GRACE

_Romans 5:20 KJV Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:_

*FIX YOUR EYES ON GRACE*

When you look around you in the world that live in today, you will realise that sin is multiplying daily. Today many people have left the course of life, they have ignored the ordinances that God set in place.

Today we have many going against the course of nature concerning marriage, family and many others. However with all these disorders increasing, Paul prophesied of something in our opening scripture.

He said by the spirit that sin can never outgrow grace. Yes sin may abound, it may increase however we shouldn’t be ignorant of the truth that it can never outgrow grace.

The danger of increase in sin is that many today may be tempted to become blind to the outgrowth of grace. They may lay their focus on the increase of sin and ignore the superabundant grace availed.

Sin can never outgrow grace because the word says so, keep your eyes fixed on grace because today there is greater grace released than ever before. We are told that in the last days knowledge shall be increased. What does this imply?

Increase in knowledge means that grace is multiplied because scripture tells us that grace is multiplied through knowledge. An increase in knowledge means a multiplication of grace hallelujah glory to God.

*Prayer:* father we thank you for your grave that you have multiplied unto us through the increase in the knowledge of God. Today I chose to focus on the grace rather than sin, I chose to focus on the abundant grace availed in our generation and I access grace by faith in Jesus name amen.

_Psalms 51:1 KJV Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions._

*GOD OF MERCY*

One of the interesting dimensions of God is that of mercy. Mercy is to show compassion upon the afflicted soul. Mercy always comes in where there is affliction. Scriptures tell us that before affliction comes, men first go astray.

For example David killed Uriah and took over his wife, in this thing, he deserved to die according to judgment. He had even judged himself through the parable that prophet Nathan said to him. However, the lord had mercy upon him and allowed him to live. So he was preserved by the mercies of God.

God always extends his mercy towards the afflicted. The affliction may be your making or not your making. It was David’s making to take over Bathsheba by killing Uriah, he also deserved to die but the lord showed mercy on him.

Our God is a God of mercy hallelujah. Just as he is a God of grace, he is also a God of mercy. Grace can come on both the afflicted and the non afflicted, however mercy deals with the afflicted, mercy specialises in the realm of those afflicted. That arm that will keep and preserve you beyond your errors. Make use of his mercy.

*Prayer:* Father I thank you for your mercies bestowed upon me, I thank you that even when I didn’t deserve mercy, by thy grace you showered mercy upon me, in the days where we were rightfully judged to death, you still showed us your mercies, thank you father. Help us also show mercy to others in your name amen.

*2 Corinthians 11:14 (KJV);* And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

*OF SPIRITUAL AWAKENING II*

Spiritual experiences require that one is also spiritually awakened.

Merely because one has a vision does not mean that they have matured in spiritual consciousness.

A lack of this awakening makes it very difficult for one to discern between the true light and the false light.

When our theme scripture says that Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light, it means that the people who see him and perceive him as an angel of light are not awakened enough to know who he truly is.

There are people to whom the devil has appeared and they claim these as genuine heavenly visitations.

It only takes a mature person to hear the narrative of their experience and know that the visitation of which they speak was not godly but a case of the devil appearing as an angel of light.

God is urging the Church to rise to higher spiritual consciousness because as we become more acquainted with the realm of the spirit, the truly awakened are the ones that can distinguish between the lights.

Hallelujah!

*GOLDEN NUGGET:* Spiritual experiences require that one is also spiritually awakened. God is urging the Church to rise to higher spiritual consciousness because as we become more acquainted with the realm of the spirit, the truly awakened are the ones that can distinguish between the lights.

*PRAYER:* Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I thank You because I am alive in the spirit and growing in consciousness every day. I know what is of the true light and the false and can never be deceived by the enemy. I see past deception and stand constantly on the foundation of spiritual truth, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
