_”Therefore whoever hears *these sayings of Mine* , and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built *his house on the rock* : and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock._

*FAMILY AND MARRIAGE -1*

Praise God! From our theme scriptures, Jesus right away begins to contrast the life of a man who hears His sayings that is ( _The Word of God_ ) and does them to being like a wise man who builds his House on the rock that when the rains descended, the floods came and the wind blew and beat on his house ,it did not fall, for it was founded on the Rock.

” *A house* ” is symbolic of _” relations, family, marriage and even a man’s ministry “_ ” *The Rock* ” in this Context is symbolic of ” _The wise sayings of Jesus (The Word)_” and ” *The rains, floods, wind* ” here are symbolic for _”the testings or even the arrows the enemy throws at us time after time and these could be strife, jealousy, unfaithfulness, poor child upbringing, lack, envying, divisions and all these other problems”_ he intends to use to bring us to our ruin.

However, it’s beautiful what Jesus says here that if a man can heed his Sayings ( _The Word of God_) and do them then that he’s firstly considered to be wise and should fear no harm whatsoever failing his house. His marriage, family, ministy should be in position to stand the test of time despite what the enemy may arsenal towards Him.

*You know why?*
It’s because God’s word is full of tremendous wisdom, so many principles, lessons, Revelations and all these things about family, marriages, relationships that just can’t permit your house to fall if you do them. As a matter of fact, the Bible says, *Ecclesiastes 1:9* _”That which has been [is] what will be, That which [is] done is what will be done, *And [there is] nothing new under the sun.*”_

The situation of your house is not any different from that that has been before or that that is yet to be and I can assure you no matter how dark or dead as it may seem; Jesus’ Sayings have the solution, do them. Jesus’ sayings carry the life that you desire . This is what they are for; to be a lamp for thy feet and a light unto thy path ( *Psalms 119:105*). Amen.
