FAITH THAT PLEASES GOD

*STUDY SCRIPTURE.*
Hebrews 10:38(KJV);
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

*FAITH THAT PLEASES GOD.*
As Christians, the kind of life we have been called to is one of a perpetual life of faith. Faith must be a lifestyle for the believer and not just a doctrine we refer to in the midst of trials. It is by faith that we please God, meaning that a lifestyle of faith is one that is constantly pleasing to God.

One of the fundamental truths Christians must connect to is in Hebrews 11:6, which tells us that without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God. He says in our theme scripture that when a man draws back, he displeases God. This means that whenever people draw back into disbelief, they grieve the Spirit of the living God.

Why is unbelief grievous to the Spirit of God?

Every time a man walks in doubt, He questions the very nature of God. Unbelief is a statement in the realm of the spirit that one has reservations about the integrity of God and of His Word.

I urge you today to embrace a life of faith. Always deliberately push the bounds of possibility because you understand that you are a seed of faith.

Life is constantly offering us opportunities to exercise our faith, jump at these: pray for the sick, cast out demons, deliver the oppressed, and live with boldness as one who pleases God.

*PRAYER* .
Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I thank you that I am deeply and firmly rooted in Your Word. I keep on the course and hold fast to my confession with the knowledge that the answer must come because You are a rewarder and respecter of faith. I thank You that through my faith in You, I am strengthened, empowered, and rebuilt. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
