DELIVERED TO SERVE HIM.*

*Study Scripture: * _Luke 1:74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,_

*DELIVERED TO SERVE HIM.*

What could be the highest reason for your salvation? Many Christians wonder why the Lord saved them. God did not just save us because he wanted to. If it was a matter of just being saved,there are many who could be born again today.

Beyond just loving us, there are many reasons for him saving you and one of them is to serve him. One of the highest reasons for God delivering us from the hand of our enemies and oppressors is for us to serve him. You have a reason to serve the Lord.

The expectation of God after redeeming us from our afflictions is to develop a conviction to serve and minister to him just like Simon’s mother in law; *_Luke 4:39 And he stood over her(Simon’s wife’s mother) , and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them._*

The moment this lady was healed of her sickness,the first thing she thought of was to serve the Lord. This teaches us that one of the goals of God saving us is not just for our benefit but to serve and minister to him. Have a place you participate in the fellowship towards the service of the Lord.

Now that the Lord has delivered you from poverty,use your finances to serve him. Now that the Lord has saved you from sickness,use your health and body to serve him. Now that you are redeemed from fear,use the boldness he has granted you to serve him. Make use of all things to minister to him.

If the spirit of God has redeemed you from wrong sexual relationships,believe on him for a relationship that will enable you serve him. Do not relax in your salvation but take advantage of the liberty the spirit of God has given to you to serve him.

Heavenly Father, I appreciate you so much for your mercy this morning. Thank you for opening my eyes to one of your reasons for saving me. Let your spirit grant me grace and anointing to stand in the ministry you have called me four in the name of Jesus Christ.
