1 Kings 1:5 AMP
5.Then Adonijah the son of [David’s wife] Haggith exalted himself, saying, “I [the eldest living son] will be king.” So [following Absalom’s example] he prepared for himself chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him…

*COMFORT ZONE*
(Propositioning)
From our previous knowledge of growth, prosperity and blessing, a humble heart prevaileth much over a proud one.
Adonijah wasn’t humble enough to realize that what wasn’t given throne. He believed that because he was the first living son, he was fit to take after the father (David) which was not the case.

Because we are in a position of our best fit and everything about where we are is right, it doesn’t mean it is where God wants to bless us from.
Everything about that season may seem right but it doesn’t mean you cannot get stagnant.
It doesn’t mean curses or failures but repositioning.

*Nugget.*
Humility comes before honor and and the lord lifts up the humble in the right season.
Learn to depend on God even when all things seem to be right .
