CHRIST

1. Christ is the foundation the church is built on.

2. Christ is the sure foundation.

3. Funny how this truth has been the theme for one of the ministries I’ve been serving under. I think serving under the knowledge and understanding of Christ as the sure foundation will definitely change the way I serve. You know, serving on the knowledge that metal poles is the source of your strength, and serving knowing that reinforced concrete is the source of your strength are two different things. Take an example of ministry at mission week. That pulpit, vs the grounds. Which would you do the vigorous dances on.

Just seen something. So when we attempt to break foundations of let’s say family backgrounds, and disconnect whole lineages from them, we first need to make sure that the disconnecting foundation is stronger than the family foundations, since all of them are as buildings. And be sure to have a new foundation after the disconnection. That’s the use of discipleship. ??

Nowonder we have many people in church who are not content and sure of their foundational heritage. They are left without a proper foundation. Their houses begin to crumble and then they say that life under Christianity is hard. Because the other side, the foundation took on all the weight, which made it seem not to be there. But now, there is no foundation. [The purpose and power of Discipleship.] Eh. We really need to do more intentional Discipleship. Otherwise.
