ANALYSE THE REVELATION

_Acts 17:10-11 KJV 10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and *searched the scriptures daily,* whether those things were so._

*ANALYSE THE REVELATION*

Yesterday we shared concerning the place of recieving revelation. It’s the same thing written of by Paul in our opening scripture above when he speaks of the bereans who recieved the word with all readiness of mind.

However, the bereans went an extra mile and searched the scriptures daily to find out whether those things were so. This is the next step to take after recieving revelation. Take time and search scriptures or analyse what you have received.

Many people are decieved because they don’t analyse what has been given to them. Even the holy spirit himself requires us to analyse all that he gives us. That’s why he says we ought to rightly divide the word of truth. You can’t rightly divide something if you don’t understand it fully.

Everytime you analyse the revelation that you have received with all readiness of mind, it builds your discernment abilities. You will easily discern what comes to you when it’s not of God and that which comes to you and is of God. All this happens when we learn how to analyse all that comes to us because not all that we access is of God.

*PRAYER:* Father I thank you for the wisdom that you have imparted in me both to recieve revelation and to discern and separate between the precious and the guile. Thank you that I function in this wisdom daily in Jesus name amen.

1st Thessalonians 2:13 LEB And because of this we also give thanks to God constantly, that when you received God’s word that you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, *but as it truly is, the word of God, which also is at work in you who believe.*

*BELIEVE THE WORD*

In the previous devotions we learnt about recieving and analysing revelation, those were the first two steps that we got to learn, however there is a more interesting step to take after you have received the understanding of the revelation.

The third step is to believe the word. The moment you believe that word, it straightaway begins working in you. This is a present continuous tense, The word of God begins to work in you the moment you believe it. Whether you see the results or not, he is working already.

The word begins working what he says the moment you believe it. If it is healing you, the moment you believe what has been said, healing begins to be worked out by the word of God in you, if it is prosperity, then he begins straightaway fixing your finances, if something was dead, the word straightaway begins restoring that which was dead in you hallelujah.

Learn to believe the revelation that you have understood perfectly. The moment you do so, in the spirit world the word begins working because he never sleeps and he Nevers slumbers.

*PRAYER:* Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for teaching me how to believe your word. From today I know that everybody that I have believed is working out for my good continuously and unceasingly whether I see it or not. Amen.
