Study scripture;
John 15:4 (KJV);Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
ABIDING I
God has given us many gifts as His children.In 1 Corinthians 12, some of these gifts are listed to include gifts of healing, the working of miracles; prophecy or the discerning of spirits.
Though He has given us these gifts, He wants us to function beyond them because they are limited. A deep relationship with God is not built on gifts alone.
Gifts may mislead someone into assuming that possessing them means a person is intimate with God.One may be gifted yet never bother to cultivate and invest in a relationship with God.
Gifts are without repentance(Romans 11:29). This means that the Lord is not going to take away your gift of prophecy or discernment because you have not prayed for the past three days.
However, if you choose to abandon intimacy with God and never fellowship with Him because you rely only on your gift, there are realms in God you will never reach.
The place beyond gifts is that of abiding. The man who has learnt to abide in God will always function above and in a deeper place than he who only relies on a gift.
Hallelujah!

NUGGET;
If you choose to abandon intimacy with God and never fellowship with Him because you rely only on your gift, there are realms in God you will never reach.
PRAYER;
Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for the gifts that You have given me. I value and cherish them. I know that You have called me above the gift, to abide in You even as You abide in me. I exercise myself in the realities of one whose heart pants after You, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
