Your new life in Christ

*Study scripture:* _Romans 8:11 – But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you._

*Your new life in Christ*

This reality might be to hard to believe. But the truth is that when Jesus Christ died,all his body was pierced from head to toe. This means all his blood was drained out of his body. He died with a body void of blood.

*Leviticus 17:11 – “For the life of the flesh is in the blood:….”* So the flesh/body of Jesus lost its life because he had also lost his blood. Everytime blood is lost ,there is automatically a loss of life.

So Jesus did not come out of the grave because of blood. It was not possible for him to come back to life since all his blood had been shed on the cross. The only possiblity of him coming back to life was by the life giving spirit.

It’s the Holy spirit that gave life to the mortal body of Christ to come back to life. The bible says that the spirit that raised Jesus from dead. Before death,his life was in the blood. But after death his life was in the spirit. The nature of Christ that you have received of is his life after resurrection.

To a child of God under the new testament,the confirmation of your life and healing is not what you see in your blood. It is a testimony of the vitality of the Holy spirit at work in your mortal body.

You ceased to operate by the arm of flesh and blood when you became born again and now your true life is hid in God with Christ Jesus; *Colosians.3.3 – For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.*
Your new life is now a testimony of the Holy spirit. It is no longer by might,nor by power.

For even if your body be dead, the spirit gives it life. *Romans 8:2 – For the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you through Christ Jesus from the power of sin that leads to death.* What gives you life in the kingdom of God is not just your diet and how careful you are to be well.

The bible calls it the power of the life giving spirit. It is the spirit of Christ that gives life to all things around you. Your finances receive life by the very spirit that brought forth Christ from the dead.

Your life is nolonger in the flesh or even in the blood, your life is in the spirit. The spirit that gave life to the dead body of Christ is what gives life to you.

*Nugget:* Your true Life is in the spirit of God not in your blood. Even if sickness was found in your blood, your life is nolonger in the blood but in the spirit. Your flesh is given life by the spirit.

I thank you Lord for the life giving spirit in my body. My finances receive life by the spirit that brought forth Christ from the dead. My body is alive to the glory of God. In the name of Jesus.
